PETER SCOTT, President / CEO Peter is the President and Owner of Scott Pump Service and the oldest son of company founder Don Scott. Starting out as parts washer in the early 80’s Peter worked in the service, sales and projects departments before leaving the company to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. Peter would travel North America taking on gradually larger management roles for some of the largest communications companies in the USA. Following the 2002 Winter Olympics and a rewarding stint with Fox television Peter decided to return home to the family business. As Manager of the Mining Division, Peter traveled literally hundreds of thousands of kilometers each year building on longstanding relationships of trust and goodwill across the mining industry. In 2008, Peter led a successful buy-out of the company and became its chief executive. Under Peter’s direction, Scott Pump Service has redefined the art and science of fuel and lubrication systems for the mining industry. No longer satisfied as a mere vendor, Scott Pump Service is building strong partnerships with every major mining player in Western Canada and has garnered the reputation for being ‘the people to see’ when new projects are designed and built.
