RETA BOECHLER, Controller Reta Boechler is a natural born leader in Finance and Human Resources at Scott Pump Service Ltd. Her analytical mind regarding finances and the ability to handle every human resource challenge with a compassionate heart enables Scott Pump Service Ltd. to grow morally, ethically and financially stronger on a daily basis. Reta was instrumental in developing and implementing the Scott Pump Service Ltd. quality, health, safety and environmental program. Reta has gained valuable education and workplace experience in her career pursuits and volunteerism. Many years of hands on financial management experience at Scott Pump Service Ltd., as well as serving as a forensic, administrative and internal accountant for a major accounting firm in the Edmonton Alberta region. Reta’s education includes accounting and many courses concerning Finance and Human Resource Management at the accredited institutions of the University of Alberta, NAIT and Grant MacEwan Community College in Edmonton Alberta. Reta has also attained certification with Alberta Construction and Safety Association with Principles of Health and Safety Management and Leadership for Safety Excellence. Community involvement is a very important aspect of Reta’s life and she is respected by her peers for her involvement. Reta has had the opportunity to serve as a Director on many Boards in the Alberta region such as; Consulting Partner for Sage and the Simply Accounting product, Chairperson for the Edmonton Youth Justice Committee and the Edmonton Area Deputy Commissioner for the Girl Guides of Canada. Reta has also facilitated Accounting and Office Administration Workshops for the Aboriginal Communities in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. After Reta has given all of this time and effort to her workplace and community she still finds the time to enjoy her family, fit in a relaxing game of golf, and loves to travel both nationally and internationally.
